Second semester junior year is a great time to start so that we have plenty of time to gradually ramp up the work through the semester then really take advantage of the summer to complete the great majority of all applications by the time school starts. That way there is no stress, and your child can enjoy senior year.

I do not do essays only. I believe the best way to help students write a quality essay is to really get to know them and their values. I only offer a comprehensive package because I feel that I need multiple sessions over the span of months to deliver maximum results. There are plenty of my colleagues who have a different business model and do choose to work hourly and provide various a la carte services. I’m happy to pass their information to you.

I do everything from start to finish, including all essays. There is nothing else that will need to be done nor anyone else who will need to be hired. I will be sure your child meets all the deadlines so you don’t need to keep track of any of it.

The average number of students that a public school guidance counselor works with each year is around 550. The average amount of a guidance counselor’s time that is spent on college counseling is 18%. Guidance counselors are amazing, but they’re spread so thin. Also, they typically work during school hours. I’m around relatively 24/7 (including school holidays) for my students and their families.

I intentionally run a boutique style business with about 5-7 students per year. I don’t want to spread myself too thin, and I value having a very short turn around time for feedback. I love really getting to know my students and helping reduce their stress!
