About Me

I graduated summa cum laude from Cornell College with degrees in Secondary Education and Spanish and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society. I am bilingual in Spanish and earned my master’s degree from St. Louis University’s campus in Madrid, Spain. I am an associate member of IECA, Independent Educational Consultants Association, for private college counselors.

 

I have been an ACT and SAT tutor for the past eight years and realized that the college application process is one that seems very daunting and overwhelming for many students and parents. I earned a college counseling certificate with distinction from UCLA Extension and love sharing my expertise and enthusiasm with all my students to help them feel like it is a manageable process and one that they even enjoy. I bring organization, structure, and easy to follow checklists and timelines to help reduce the stress that students and families feel during this process. I firmly believe that the counselor/student connection is critical, and it is one of my greatest strengths (in person as well as virtually).

In addition to touring all the Florida schools featured here, I am experienced in helping students apply to schools and complete all supplemental essays for highly selective universities across the country.
