Florida Gulf Coast University

FGCU has 15,000 students as well as 15 D1 teams. They are one of the top two Florida schools in terms of job placement. The average class size is 33, and the student to teacher ratio is 22:1. The middle 50% of their class had scores of 1141, 23, and 3.89 weighted (yes, weighted). There are quite a few scholarships offered to Florida residents, and the cost of FGCU is reasonable, even compared to other state schools. FGCU is the second safest campus in Florida. They are a very eco-friendly campus, and of their 800 acres, they can only build on 400 of them, so all the beautiful green space will be maintained.
