Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT is experiencing a lot of growth right now. Whereas before, they were more of a regional university with most of their students coming from neighboring states, now many students are coming from the DC area, Florida, California, Chicago, and other parts of the country. Enrollment has gone from 4,000 students to 5,000 recently as they are becoming a national university. The campus (which was founded in 1942) is very modern and beautiful. It’s also easily accessible from 3 airports. The Metro North commuter train takes students into NYC in an hour for internships. Fairfield is also located very close to the beach. My final paragraph discusses that in more detail.
Fairfield is a values-based, student-centered, outcomes-focused university.
