Quinnipiac University is a private school home to 6800 undergrads (as well as 3000 graduate, medical, and law students) in Hamden, CT, which is about 15 minutes from New Haven. The student to faculty ratio is 12 to 1, and the average class size is 20 students. The average GPA of the incoming class is 3.49, and the average SAT score of those who chose to submit it is 1178.
