UMass - Amherst

The University of Massachusetts Amherst is home to 23,000 undergraduates from 49 states as well as 1800 international students. Amhurst has been voted the best college town in America. It is located 25 minutes from Springfield and is surrounded by mountains with a very cute downtown area. According to US News and World Report, UMass Amherst is in the top 15% of national universities. For eight years in a row, the Princeton Review has voted them the number one campus in terms of dining. They offer more than 90 undergraduate degree programs and have more than 370 research groups.
